Kapton ESD Applications

  • To prevent static induction, use a metal cover to cover the conductor, or use high-temperature resistant gold finger antistatic tape to separate the effect of static induction, called static shielding.
  • In order to avoid the interference of external electric fields, all electronic instruments need to be shielded from static electricity.
  • Conductors in the process of conducting electricity, due to their own resistance, will cause heat loss in the conductor, thus limiting the ability to conduct electricity.
  • For some conductors below a certain low temperature or the use of anti-static gold finger tape, their own resistance will completely disappear, we will be such metals called superconductors.
  • If a superconductor is used to make a motor, it will not produce any losses when energized, which will inevitably increase the efficiency of the motor.
  • When an uncharged object is placed close to a charged object, it causes the uncharged object to appear charge. If the charged object has a positive charge, the side near the charged object will be negatively charged and the other side will be positively charged. Once the charged object has been removed, the charged object remains unchanged.
  • In order to avoid electrostatic induction, it is necessary to use anti-static gold finger tape to prevent electrostatic induction.
